Our topic this term is: Emergency Emergency!
We have been finding out all about the jobs of people who help us! Our role play area this term has been a hospital, fire station and a police station! It has been so much fun!
In literacy this term we have been looking at the letter sounds S a t n i p. We have been playing eye spy, going on a letter hunt and building some super words.
We have been working really hard this term with our handwriting. We just love our disco dough and funky finger Fridays! These activities help us to become super writers.
We have been learning super rhymes and playing rhyming games.
We have been writing lists and sentences about the autumn. This week we are writing lists for our autumn party at the end of term!😀
In numeracy we have been learning to count forward and back from different starting places within 20. We have been finding out about the number before and after
we have been investigating 2D shapes. We have had super fun sorting leaves from our playground into a venn diagram!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
