Welcome to Primary 7!
P7 have been exploring biographies and autobiographies this term. We have completed reading activities and created timelines and fact files about famous people like Roald Dahl and John Lennon. We also used our imaginations to help us to write Autumn poetry. We are also enjoying participating in the Accelerated Reading Challenge.
In Numeracy we have been exploring place value and solving mathematical word problems. We have been using Freckle Maths to consolidate our learning.
We are very excited to be working with medical students from Queen’s University. They will be teaching us all about the human body and how we can keep healthy. We will be doing lots of amazing experiments. We can’t wait!
In UICT we designed personalised book covers based on ‘James and the Giant Peach.’ We created and edited spreadsheets to help us to solve budgeting problems.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
